On Friday I took my brother to see the red hot chili peppers. He is an insanely huge fan and I sort of surprised him with tickets. At one point during the show he just grabbed me and hugged me. The show was incredible but whenever I wear this shirt I’ll probably think of that moment.  Also, my mom surprised me with a hair appointment because I turn 20 tomorrow so I did that. The rain has frizzed it up a bit… my hair just doesn’t want to be straight ;) But my girlfriend likes it curly anyways :)  View high resolution

For a class of mine I wrote something about my Great Grandmother

I came into class yesterday and the prof asked me to read it to the class. I happened to be wearing a shirt that had belonged to my great grandmother. I stuttered at one point durring the reading which I think was her sticking it to me because she hated when I straightened my hair.

She meant a lot to me and it’s little moments like this that happen ever so often that make me feel like she is watching over me.
